How to Get Free Gift Cards for Mother's Day Gifts
If you are a regular reader here, you already know that I am going to say pray. Just talk to Our Creator like you are talking to a friend. It doesn't take a lot of fancy words,or a special place, but being in a distraction-free space is best for a conversation with anyone - so if you can make a little space alone- whether it's under your covers, or in a closet, start your quest for a great gift for Mom by asking Our Creator to guide you to a wonderful gift that would be perfect for your mom.
It's amazing what happens when you first go the the One who knows the beginning from the end and just have a conversation as a friend!
Apps That Really Reward You With Money and Gift Cards
There are a slew of new apps out there that are paying people to view ads and rewarding them with free gift cards. These apps are marketed as paying you to play free games online, listen to music, charge your phone etc. However, in reality, most of these apps are paying you to watch ads. Some of these apps are indeed absolutely terrible - I've downloaded a few of them. However, I have also been blessed with the opportunity to download some apps that have very few ads and have been rewarded more than once through these apps.
Here is my current list of Apps that have rewarded me with free gift cards :
- Rewarded Play - This app has some great games to play and they give you growing bonuses for logging in and playing each day.
- Mistplay - This free app also rewards you for playing free online games. You can rack up points faster when you play late at night.
- Mode Earn - This is a cool app that also rewards you for listening to music on your phone! They pay out in PayPal.
No phone that will let you download apps? I can relate to that. Remember this: Tough times never last, but tough people do - a great book to read by the way. Pick it up at your local library today. Some websites will reward you with free gift cards too!
Websites Rewarding Users with Free Gift Cards or Cash
There are quite a few websites out there that will reward users with free gift cards for doing a variety of things like watching videos, doing surveys, and even playing online games. Here are a couple of websites that have rewarded me with gift cards:
- Swagbucks - Swagbucks has been around for a long time, and it is still going strong. Most users get rewarded for downloading apps, or getting cashback on various purchases.
- Rakuten- Rakuten offers cashback on purchases. You can even buy yourself gift cards to use in brick-and-mortar locations and get cashback on those. Rakuten has a cool offer right now.- they will give you a bonus of $30 when make your first $30 purchase. That's like getting $30 of stuff for free! Find out more here on the Rakuten USA website.
- TokTok - Yes TikTok is rewarding new users with a $10 gift card when they sign up and log in for 7 days in a row into their rewards centre.

What would Mom like? Start searching for that special gift tonight! Just put "win" and whatever gift you are looking for. Some great websites regularly offer super prizes that you might win. Remember, if you're not in, you can't win! Check out some of these:

Free N Frugal Gifts to Make for Mom
The key to making a free gift for Mom is using something you already have. What do you have lying around in your junk drawer, or maybe in the back of your closet? There are tons of great ideas for upcycling things you have been clinging to for sentimental reasons. Every Mom is different, so you need to know if what you decide to make will be something that she will want to keep.
- Date Night with Mom Calendar- Get a free Calendar or create a free online calendar using Google Calendar and mark off dates that you will dedicate to spending time with Mom. This can even work for moms who are far away. Nowadays you can even play online games together for free.
- Homemade potpourri - Next time you eat an orange grapefruit, or tangerine, cut the peel into thin slices so it dries easily and make a pretty jar of homemade potpourri!
- Dried wildflower bouquet. Take a walk on the wild side and pick some dried flowers or cat tails from down by the riverside.
- Start an indoor herb garden for Mom, or an indoor salad garden.

Restaurants Offering Mother's Day Freebies N Deals.
Restaurants haven't announced their Mother's Day specials for 2024 yet, so now is a good time to start following them online and signing up for their emails so you can know as soon as they make their announcements There is one problem though with taking MOM to a restaurant - you want to be sure it is food that she will be able to eat - otherwise, it's not really much of a treat. If you have a Mom with a lot of allergies like me -. eating in a restaurant really isn't much of a treat. You would be better off buying her some gourmet groceries she can eat and preparing a special dinner for her at home. Those extra special groceries could end up being half the price as a dinner out that's not near as nice.
According to the website Living on the Cheap, in 2023, the following restaurants offered Mother's Day deals and freebies. Now is the time to start subscribing to their email updates and following them on social media, so you can be the first to know when their Mother's Day specials are posted.:
- 7-Eleven - Sign up to become a 7-Eleven Rewards Member now. Last year they had a crazy amazing pizza deal.
- California Pizza Kitchen - Last year they made heart-shaped pizzas and dine-in customers were treated to a bonus $10 gift card for a future visit,
- Gong cha - Last year Gong cha offered a special buy-one-get-one-FREE deal on yummy bubble tea!
- KFC - KFC hada nice deal last year that even included a Mother's Day card!
- TCBY.- TCBV treated Mom to free yogurt and toppings on Mother's Day last year!
- Tijuana Flats- How about a free entree? Yep, you read that right! Tijuana Flats gave Mom a free entree with the purchase of a fountain drink!
- Zaxby’s- Last year Zaxby's offered a FREE kids meal with the purchase of an adult meal. Note: this was only available through their app though.
